Beta Delta Chapter
The Beta Delta Chapter at Rutgers University - Newark has provided undergraduate college men with the opportunity to become a part of a strong brotherhood that spans all across the nation. Since 2008, we strive to impact the local community through our philanthropic efforts. 7 men started a movement in New Jersey and years later, we are stronger than ever. Our brotherhood has impacted our lives and we hope to continue the "BALLISTIC" Beta Delta Legacy for decades to come.
CHAPTER OPERATIONS
Part of the experience of being a brother of the BΔ Chapter is the professional development and leadership experience acquired through chapter operations. In order for our chapter to succeed we must all work together to perform day to day duties and tasks. Our brothers are able to express themselves and work on projects they feel passionate about.
The BΔ Chapter has a variety of Executive Board positions which brothers can take a leadership role in.
Chapter Philanthropies and Annual Events include: Victor Correa CPR Awareness, Hispanic Dance Workshop, National Latinx AIDS Awareness, Founders' Week, Chapter Banquet and a variety of other events.
We are proud to have worked with the following organizations: Student Government Association (SGA) , Association of Latino Professionals For America (ALPFA), Rutgers Finance Society, Latinos United Networking America (LUNA), Omega Phi Chi Sorority Inc., and many more.
BROTHERHOOD & ACADEMICS
We believe in the ideals of fairness, opportunity, and equality of all men without regard to their race, culture, or ethnic background. Our biggest goal is to see that all of society can realize the importance of these three ideals. In order to achieve this goal, we all strive to model these behaviors and present ourselves in a gentlemanly and educated fashion.
The BΔ Chapter has a strong history of brotherhood and really taking advantage of the fraternity experience. Whether we are going out to eat, studying for finals, taking a road trip out of state, or attending brotherhood retreats and leadership workshops; we understand that we must be there to support one another through great times and times of adversity.
Academic success and higher education is our end goal as collegiate men. It is through our brotherhood that we can enhance academic retention and ensure a high percentage of graduating members as well as members perusing post-baccalaureate degrees.
